What We Do

Helping others grow in wisdom and in stature

Upon approval from the Scholarship Committee, we award funds to eligible candidates based on a thorough application review process. We also provide valuable support to eligible students and their families through seminars, workshops, webinars, and other opportunities that assist them in their pursuit of higher education. Additionally, we actively share information about student internships, scholarships, and career opportunities to further expand the possibilities available to our community.

By building connections and relationships between scholarship recipients and church members, we facilitate the growth of the church while recognizing the importance of education and the responsibility to nurture both personal and spiritual development.

Join our Stay-in-Touch (SIT) Initiative

Please join the Fort Foote Baptist Church (FFBC) Scholarship Committee in their Stay in Touch (SIT) initiative.  This initiative provides a formalized nurturing connection between the congregation and our scholarship recipients. Select a recipient using the sign-up below and upon selection, feel free to reach out to the recipient on a periodic basis to see how he/she is doing, offering any words of encouragement, or sending a care package. This is a great way for us to help them maintain a continual relationship with God and our church.

The SIT objectives aim to help:
·  Facilitate better communication and inclusiveness among college students through interpersonal relationships.
·  Support and guide our college students in their spiritual development when they are away at school.
